Sustainable Fisheries Act

Sustainable fisheries law was adopted on 11 October 1996. Updated conservation fishing existing Magnuson and Management Act. This law includes provisions for the implementation of fisheries management plans, sets the prohibited acts and lists civil sanctions. The law gives the Secretary-General decisions trading power to influence the fishing communities. This law is also the role of the observers.
